What is a 2025-D Stacey Milbern Quarter worth?
In circulated condition it's worth face value. Only uncirculated coins with full original luster, or a recognized variety, carry a premium.
What would make yours worth more:
- Uncirculated condition with full original luster
- A die variety or minting error

Quick answers
- Is the 2025-D Stacey Milbern Quarter rare?
- Not in absolute terms: 59 million were made. It is one of the smaller runs in the series, though, so uncirculated examples are worth a little more than most dates.
- Is the 2025-D Stacey Milbern Quarter silver?
- No. It's copper core clad in 75% copper / 25% nickel. Quarters dated 1964 and earlier are 90% silver.
- Where is the mint mark on a 2025 American Women Quarter?
- On the obverse (P, D or S). On this coin the mark is D, for Denver.
- How many 2025-D Stacey Milbern Quarter coins were made?
- 59,400,000.
What to check on your 2025-D
- Make sure the mint mark really is a D. A worn or filled mark can be misread. It's what separates your coin from the 2025-P (95 million made).
- A face that's fully copper colored could be a missing clad layer error. Patchy discoloration is usually damage.
- Judge the grade under good light. Modern quarters are graded on luster, strike and marks. Proofs are judged on cameo contrast.
With 59 million made, the 2025-D still turns up in everyday change. Keep yours only if it looks uncirculated or shows a variety; otherwise it's worth face value.
The story of the 2025-D Stacey Milbern
Denver made 59,400,000 of the Stacey Milbern quarter. Among the 5 designs of 2025 it was the second smallest Denver run, between Althea Gibson (32 million) and Dr. Vera Rubin (63 million).
Philadelphia struck more of the same design, 95 million, so the 2025-D is the scarcer of the pair by about 37 percent.
Across the whole program it's one of the Denver designs made in the smallest numbers, 2nd from the bottom of 20.
Elsewhere in US coinage in 2025
The Treasury announced the end of penny production for circulation and the last circulating cents were struck in Philadelphia in November 2025. It was also the final year of the American Women quarters.
How to recognize it
The Stacey Milbern design
Stacey Park Milbern (1987 to 2020) was a Korean American disability justice activist who lived with a form of muscular dystrophy. Starting as a young advocate in North Carolina, she later helped shape the disability justice movement, which centers disabled people who also face racism and other forms of exclusion. In the San Francisco Bay Area she founded the Disability Justice Culture Club. The reverse shows her speaking to an audience, one hand near her trach and the other palm up, with the words DISABILITY JUSTICE.
The American Women Quarter design
The obverse shows a new portrait of George Washington by Laura Gardin Fraser, originally submitted in the 1931 design competition. Each reverse honors a woman who shaped American history, with her name and the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM and QUARTER DOLLAR. Five honorees were issued each year from 2022 to 2025.
